6 ASSEMBLY AND COMMISSIONING
6.1 TRAINING OF ASSEMBLY/COMMISSIONING PERSONNEL
The assembly and commissioning personnel must have the technical skills to safely
commission the device.
When assembling, commissioning and carrying out all work, read and follow the
operating manuals and safety regulations for the additionally required system
components.
A skilled person must check to ensure that the device is in a reliable state after it is installed
and commissioned.
6.2 STORAGE AND INSTALLATION CONDITIONS
Until the point of assembly, the device must be stored in a dry location, free from vibrations
and with a minimum of dust. The device must be stored in closed rooms.
For ambient temperature and air humidity, see Chapter 5.6.2.
6.3 ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION
The pneumatically operated paint valves and dosing valves are suitable for operation in
Explosion Zone 1.
Double valves
A double valve is comprised of two single valves with a shared input or output. The ow of
product can take place in both directions (mixing or splitter valve).

Individual double valves can be
extended to form valve rows.
Mount valves alternately the right
way up and upside down.
Before screwing together, grease
(7) the O-ring (4) and insert it
together with the ller part (5).
Screw together with screws (1).
If necessary, seal one product outlet
with a screw plug (3) and a plug (2).
