6.4 GROUNDING THE SYSTEM
DANGER
Discharge of electrostatically charged components in atmospheres containing
solvents!
Explosion hazard from electrostatic sparks or ames.
Connect the valve to the ground potential via the screws.
A conductive connection (potential equalization cable) must be established between
original tank and the equipment.
6.5 PRECLEANING
The function of all the valves is checked with water or emulsifying oil after factory mounting.
Before being commissioned, the remainder of this liquid has to be ushed out thoroughly
using solvent (ushing agent).
WARNING
Incompatibility of the solvent with the product used!
Risk of explosion and danger of poisoning by toxic gases.
Examine the compatibility of the solvent when in contact with the used products on
the basis of the safety data sheets.
Notice:
The ushing agent must be compatible with the products to be used later. We therefore
recommend contacting the product suppliers.
