9.5 DISASSEMBLING
9.5.1 PTFE VALVES: REMOVING VALVE ROD WITH SEALING PACKAGE

1. Take system out of operation and relieve the pressure.
Remove and clean valve.
2. Unscrew the tension nut (A) that is under spring pressure. Remove pressure spring
(B).
3. Carefully pull out valve rod (E) on piston (D).
Remove O-ring (O) from piston (D).
4. Use a size 5 wrench to loosen sealing screw (F) and unscrew it.
5. Carefully pull all parts of the sealing package (G, H, I, K, L, M) out of housing with the
help of the wood screw (included in scope of delivery) of the service set.
6. Remove O-ring (N) from the groove.
7. If the valve rod (E) or piston (D) is damaged:
Hold valve rod (E) using a size 2 wrench and unscrew nut (C).
Unscrew valve rode (E) out of the piston (D).
8. Check parts for damage.
The PTFE seals at the front (H) and rear (M) as well as the sealing collar (K) should be
replaced in all cases.
O-rings and seal sets are preferably to be replaced.
