6.6 COMMISSIONING
When commissioning and for all work, read and follow the operating manual and safety
regulations for the additionally required system components.
6.6.1 PRESSURE TIGHTNESS TEST
WARNING
Overpressure!
Risk of injury from bursting components.
The operating pressure must not exceed the value shown on the type plate.
Before the tightness check:
– Vent all the product and hardener circuits under low-pressure via the gun until clean
ushing agent is emitted.
Tightness check of the entire system:
– Check all the product circuits consecutively with ushing agent.
– Increase the pressure slowly, step-by-step until the maximum permissible pressure
has been reached.
The following points are to be observed:
– The pressure has to be compatible with the maximum pressure of the entire system.
– Examine the entire system for possible leaks.
– The maximum pressure has to be maintained for at least 2 minutes.
– Any leaks occurring have to be eliminated immediately.
After the check has been completed:
– Switch o the air pressure of all the pumps.
– Relieve the pressure of pumps and of the whole system.
