-158 String data not allowed
A character string was received but is not allowed for this command.
Check the list of parameters to verify that you have used a valid
parameter type. Example: BURS:NCYC ’TEN’
-161 Invalid block data
Applies only to the
DATA:DAC VOLATILE
command
.
For a definite-length block, the number of bytes of data sent does not
match the number of bytes that you specified in the block header. For an
indefinite-length block, an EOI (End-or-Identify) was received without
an accompanying <new line> character.
-168 Block data not allowed
Data was sent to the function generator in definite-length block format
but this command does not accept this format. Check to see if you have
sent the correct data type with the command. Example: BURS:NCYC #10
-170 to -178 Expression errors
The function generator does not accept mathematical expressions.
