Performing Resistance Measurements
Measuring resistance
1 Press . The default function is 2- wire

measurement.
2 Connect the red and black test leads to the input terminal as shown in
Figure 2- 6 or Figure 2- 7 respectively (according to the selected
measurement method).
3 Probe the test points (by shunting the resistor) and read the display.
In autoranging mode, the multimeter automatically selects the appropriate
range and the measurement is displayed.

Disconnect circuit power and discharge all high-voltage capacitors before measuring
resistance to avoid damaging the multimeter or the device under test.
