CHECKING
ENGINE FULCRUM AXIS
Carefully read page 40
(MAINTENANCE).
Check periodically for any clearance
between engine pin and its bushes.
To perform this operation, proceed as
follows:
u Place the vehicle on the centre stand on
firm and level ground.
u Shake the wheel right and left with
respect to the riding direction.
u If you detect a clearance, contact an
aprilia Authorised Dealer that will
restore ideal use conditions.
REMOVING THE REAR-VIEW
MIRRORS
Carefully read page 40
(MAINTENANCE).
u Place the vehicle on the centre stand on
firm and level ground.
u Lift the protection (1).
CAUTION
Support rear-view mirror (2) to avoid its
accidental falling.
u Keep the screw (3) blocked and loosen
nut (4).
u Remove the rear-view mirror (2).
REMOVING
FRONT HANDLEBAR COVER

(MAINTENANCE).
u Place the vehicle on the centre stand on
firm and level ground.
u Unscrew and remove the two screws (1)
shown by the arrows.
u Unscrew and remove the two screws (2).
CAUTION
Operate carefully not to damage seat (3)
of tab (4).
u H Use a small flat screwdriver and lift tab
(4) inside front handlebar cover (5).
u H Repeat this operation also on lower
part of handlebar cover.
