Connecting USB Memory Devices to the Projector
A memory device connects to the USB-A port

USB flash drive Connect USB flash drive to the projector’s USB-A port.
Memory cards 1. Load the memory card into a USB card reader’s card slot.
2. Connect the USB card reader to the projector’s USB-A port.
Digital cameras Connect one end of the USB cable to digital camera, and the other end of (Type A
connector) to the projector’s USB-A port.
Be sure to refer to the digital camera user documentation for information about
how to connect and required settings.
Projecting Files from a USB Memory Device
To do this: Perform this operation:
Project files from a USB
memory device
1. Connect the memory device to the projector. See “Supported USB Memory
Devices” (page 39).
2. Press the [INPUT] key as many times as necessary to select “File Viewer” and then
press the [ENTER] key.
This will start up File Viewer and display the File Viewer main screen.
3. Use the [] and [] keys to select “Slide” (image file) or “Movie” (movie file), and
then press the [ENTER] key.
This displays a list of files (image or movie) that corresponds the item you select.
4. Use the [] and [] keys to select the file you want to open and then press the
[ENTER] or [R] key.
In the case of an image file, pressing the [ENTER] key will project only one file.
Pressing the [R] key will start an image file slideshow starting from the
currently selected file.

progress, see “Operation During Image File Projection” and “Operation During
Movie File Projection” below.
Configuring File Viewer
settings
1. On the File Viewer main screen, select “Viewer Settings” and then press the
[ENTER] key.
2. Use [] and [] to select the item whose setting you want to change.
3. Use [] and [] to change the currently selected setting.
For information about the settings available for each item, see “File Viewer
Setting Items” (page 42).
4. Repeat steps 2 through 3 as many times as necessary to configure all of the
settings you want.
