Using the Direct Power ON Function
The Direct Power ON function enables faster startup. It’s convenient
for ceiling mounted projectors because you can simply flip a switch
that is connected to the power outlet for the projector to turn it on
and off. For desktop or table-top presentations, just connect the power
cord to turn it on.
You can also turn the power on to restart the projector immediately
after turning it off.
Follow these steps to enable Direct Power ON:
1. Press the
Menu button on the remote control and select the
Extended menu.
2. Choose
Operation and press Enter.
3. Choose
Direct Power ON and press Enter.
4. Highlight
ON and press Enter.
5. Press
Esc or Menu to exit.
With Direct Power ON enabled, when you connect the power cable
or turn on the projector, the
Power light flashes green and then stays
green, indicating the projector is ready.
