A Airflow vents
Allows air to flow into the printer. Do not obstruct these vents.
B Waste ink tube
Tubes for ejecting waste ink. Be sure the end of this tube is in the Waste Ink Bottle while the printer is in use.
C Stopper
This prevents splatter when discharging waste ink.
Print with the opening of the Waste Ink Bottle sealed, except when replacing the Waste Ink Bottle.
D Waste Ink Bottle
Waste ink collects in this bottle.
Replace it with a new Waste Ink Bottle when a message is displayed on the control panel prompting you to do
so.

E Casters
There are two casters on each leg. Once installation is complete, the front casters should be kept locked while
the printer is in use.
F Adjusters
When installing on a carpeted floor or a sloping floor, check level gauge of the printer and adjust these to keep
the printer stable.

G AC inlet #1/AC inlet #2
Connects the power cable. Be sure to connect both cables.
H LAN port
Connects the LAN cable. Use a shielded twisted pair cable (category 5e or higher).
I Data lamp
The data lamp lights or flashes to indicate the network connection status and whether the printer is receiving
data.
On : Connected.
Flashing : Connected. Receiving data.
