The Media Setup Menu
The Media Setup menu can be accessed directly by pressing the M button.
* indicates default settings.
Item Parameter Explanation
Feed To Cut Position Sends the end of the print to the cutting groove.
Easy Media Setup You can quickly and easily register media settings using the Wizard to
perform optimum printing according to the size and type of the media
being used.

Screen Display
Media Remaining Select the item to display media information for the status screen.
When Media Remaining is selected, the length of the remaining roll
media is displayed after the
icon in increments of 0.1 m.
When Print Length is selected, the length printed per job is displayed
after the
icon in increments of 1 m. The amount fed by the media
feed button or the after heater is not included.
If you set Length in Media Remaining to Off, the remaining media is
not displayed on the status screen.
If Auto Reset is set to Off in the next section's Reset Print Length, a
cumulative value for the print length is displayed until you do Manual
Reset.

Use Print Remaining Length to print the amount of media remaining
on the current roll before replacing it with another type of media to be
loaded. You can then enter this number as the media the length the
next time the roll is used.

Enter a value for overall roll length between 1.0 and 600.0 m. You can
set in 0.5m increments. When you select Off, the following remaining
amount is not calculated.

An alert will be displayed if the amount of media remaining reaches this
length. Choose from values between 1 and 15 m. You can set in 1 m
increments.
