WARNINGS
Original text according to ECE
R94.01: Extreme Hazard! Do not use
a rearward facing child restraint on
a seat protected by an air bag in front of
it!
When using a child restraint with a
support leg on a second row seat,
make sure the support leg rests
securely on the floor.
When using a forward facing child
seat on a second row seat, always
remove the head restraint from that
seat. See Head Restraints (page 122).
When using a child seat with a seat
belt, make sure that the seat belt is
not slack or twisted.
Note: When using a child seat on a front
seat, always adjust the front passenger seat
to its fully rearwards position. If it proves
difficult to tighten the lap section of the seat
belt without slack remaining, adjust the
seatback to the fully upright position and
raise the height of the seat. See Seats
(page 119).
