COBE 2991 Variations
Pump Restore Rate
The pump restore rate is the rate at which the hydraulic pump returns to its home
position following a Supernatant-Out operation. See
“PUMP RESTORE RATE (in
mL/min)” on page 3-9.
COBE 2991s with serial numbers of 2000 and above have a maximum hydraulic
pump restore rate of 700 mL/min (
Figure 2-9). COBE 2991s with a serial number
lower than 2000 have a maximum hydraulic pump restore rate of 450 mL/min
(
Figure 2-10).
The 450 mL/min PUMP RESTORE RATE control cannot be upgraded to
700 mL/min.
The PUMP RESTORE RATE control is found on the secondary control panel,
located behind the right panel door.
