Non-Alarm Troubleshooting
Next Cycle Failure (Failure to Advance to Next Cycle)
The COBE 2991 does not advance from the Agitate/Wash-In operation to the Start/Spin operation of the next cycle.
Probable Cause Action
An RC Stop has been programmed: the STOP RESET light is
illuminated and the audible alarm is sounding (if turned on).
Verify the protocol was correctly programmed and the correct
program was selected. Program additional cycles as needed. See
“Using The LED Program Board” on page 4-9 or “Using The Pin-Diode
Program Board” on page 5-7.
PUMP RESTORE RATE is set at 0 mL/min: the hydraulic pump does
not return to the home (starting) position.
Verify that the PUMP RESTORE RATE setting is correct. See “PUMP
RESTORE RATE (in mL/min)” on page 3-9.
Internal malfunction. Contact a qualified service representative.
