Non-Alarm Troubleshooting
Supernatant-Out Operation Does Not Advance to Agitate/Wash-In Operation (SUPER OUT Light Illuminated)
The COBE 2991 does not advance from the Supernatant-Out operation to the Agitate/Wash-In operation.
Probable Cause Action
The SUPER OUT RATE is set incorrectly. Verify the SUPER OUT RATE setting.
The COBE 2991 is in Manual mode. Ensure that the AUTO/MANUAL button/switch is in the correct
position.
Circuit breaker CB5 has been tripped. Reset circuit breaker CB5. See “CIRCUIT BREAKERS” on page 3-10. If
the circuit breaker continues to trip, contact a qualified service
representative.
Internal malfunction. Contact a qualified service representative.
Caution: Before attempting to reset a circuit breaker, always unplug the
power cord.
Warning: Only trained technical personnel should open the front and
right panel doors. Only qualified service personnel should open the left and
rear panel doors. A special tool may be required to open the panel doors.
