Squat Switch
This input determines the aircraft on-ground status.

7.3.2 Transponder
The code must match the VFR code configured on the transponder. This is typically 1200 for U.S. registered aircraft.
This setting is used for the UAT anonymous mode feature (if enabled). The transponder must be tuned to this code
before the GDL 82 is capable of transmitting a temporary address and a flight ID. This field has a range of
0000-7777 (octal).

Enter the GPS source for the GDL 82.

Longitudinal Antenna Offset
Enter the offset distance (in feet) of the GPS antenna from the aircraft nose to the center of the GPS antenna.
SELECTION DESCRIPTION
Not Installed No squat switch installed in aircraft.
GND (0V) = On Ground Switch must be grounded to indicate aircraft is on ground.
GND (0V) = Airborne Switch must be grounded to indicate aircraft is airborne.
