ZONE DESCRIPTIONS (GEM-RP1CAE2 KEYPADS ONLY)
Enter an identifying description for each
zone. Buttons 1 and 2 set the
cursor position; buttons 3 and 6
scroll numbers, letters, punctuation marks,
etc.

Position the cursor over the displayed
Zone Number (i.e., “01”) using buttons
1 and 2.
!
Change the Zone Number using buttons
3 and 6.
!
Position the cursor over the first
character of the description field.
Advancing the cursor between
characters, program a description of up
to two lines for the new zone using
buttons 3 and 6.
!
Press the
J
button to save. Advance to the next zone as in Steps 1 and 2 above and repeat this procedure until all zones have
been programmed.

Enter the new User Code using the number buttons (0-9). If an old code is displayed, program over it. To erase the digit at the
cursor, press G 0 button.

Press the
J
button to save the code in memory.
!
Repeat this procedure for each user. To proceed to Zone-Description programming, press the NEXT (E) button.
