178 Vehicle Care
The spare tyre is located in the load
compartment beneath the floor
covering.
1. Park on a hard, level surface,
in a safe location.
2. Apply the park brake firmly.
3. Place the shift lever into
reverse gear or P.
4. Switch the hazard warning
flashers on.
5. Remove the ignition key.
6. Chock the wheel diagonally
opposite the flat tyre with a
suitable solid object.
7. Remove the rear parcel tray.

8. Fold down the rear seatback
on the driver side:
Pull the release knob upwards
and fold.
9. Remove the tools from the load
compartment.
Lift from the forward face to
remove, not from the rear.
10. Undo the wing bolt.
11. Remove the spare wheel from
the load compartment:
Lift from the forward face to
remove, not from the rear.
12. Remove the wheel cover,
if fitted.
Using the screwdriver supplied
in the tool kit, carefully prise
the cover off in several places.
Note
.
The screwdriver tip is
double-ended; ensure the
flat tip is used.

To protect the wheel cover,
wrap a cloth around the
screwdriver.
