DRIVE PULLEY/KICKS STARTER/CLUTCH/DRIVEN PULLEY
KiCK STARTER REMOVAL
Remove lhe left case cover and drive belt.
Unhook Ille return spring end from the left crank-
case.
Remove the kick starter spindle and staner idle shah.
Remove the stopper piaIe.
Remove the movable drive face assembly (Page 8·5).
Remove the kick starler driven gear using a com·
mercial gear puller with puller attachment.
CAUTION'
Hold rhe dril'l'JI gmr wilh fil/gers 10 pn'l'ellf i/
from falling aI/I during rhis operarion.
