LUBRICATION
Oil INLET LINE
Install the engine and perform the following ill~ec·
tions ilInd adjust menu:
Cormel cable adjustment (Page 3·61.
Oil
pump bleeding.
011 outlet line bleeding.
Oleck for oil leaks.

CAUTION:

Fill the lank with the recommended oiL
Place a shop towel around the oil pump and discon-
nect the all inlet line from the oil pump.
Fill the oil pump with oil by squirtin(] clean oil
through the port {about 3 eel.
Fill the oil line with oil and connBct it to the oil
pump POrt.
Aher In~l"flation. make sure there is no air in the oil
mlet lint>.

1. Disconnect the oil oUllet Ime al the carburetor and
force alf OUt 01 the tube by filling it with all using
an
011 SQUill can.
? Conner.tlhe oil outlet line to the carbure-ior.

Slart the engme and allow it to idle while holding
the ad control lever in the fully open position,
un Iii there are no air bubbles in the oil from the
oil
pump.
4. If air bubbles, persist, repeill steps 1 through 3.
