FINAL REDUCTION OIL
OIL LEVEL CHECK
Put Ihe motorcycle 011 its center stand on level
ground.
StOP the engine and remove the oil level check bolt
ilnd sealing washer from the final reduction !)ear
case.
A small amount of oll should flow out of the oil
level
dleck hote. Add the speCIfied 011 type through
the check hole, If necenilry.
OIL CHANGE
Remo\,l' (he 011 check bolt ilnd oil drain plug and
drilin thc oil.
Make
SUfe Ihal the realing washer on the drain plug
is in good condition ilnd reinstall the drain plug.
TORQUE: 10-14 N·m 11.0-1.4 kg'm, 7-10 ft·lb)
Refill the case up to the proper level.
OIL CAPACITY: 90 cc (3.0 US oz., 2.5 Imp. oz.)
SPECIFIED
Oil: =90 gear oil
l1einSlal1 the oil check bolt. Start Ihe engine and
check for leaks alter driving.

REMOVAL
Disconnect the oil inlet line at the oil pump and
allow the 011 to dram into a clean contamer.
