When
the
analyzer
captures
a
trace
from
the
target
system,
the
analyzer
stores
1023
states,
however
sixteen
states
are
displayed
at
one
time
.
The
list
may
be
scrolled
through
by
using
the
ROLL
keys
.
Another
way
to
quickly
locate
portions
of
the
list
is
to
move
the
cursor
to
the
location
in
the
State
Listing
marked
by
the
inverse
field
and
put
a
new
value
in
the
field
.
The
list
automatically
changes
to
place
the
specified
location
in
that
position
of
the
list
.
Typically,
when
a
measurement
is
taken,
only
a
few
states
or
a
particular
event
is
of
interest
and
it
is
not
necessary
to
see
the
entire
list
.
These
states
or
events
may
be
located
by
using
the
[Mark/Show]
function
of
the
analyzer
.
7
.
Move
the
cursor
to
the
field
under
ADDR
at
the
right
of
the
[Mark]
field
in
the
State
Listing
.
Select
an
address
in
the
list
and
place
the
value
into this
field
.
The
asterisks that
were
beside
each
listing
in
the
state
list
are
now
only
at
the
locations
that
contain
the
address
specified
in
the
Mark
field
under
the
ADDR
label,
as
in
figure
4-20
.
If
using
relocatable
module
codes
fordisplay,
use
the
NEXT[]or
PREY[]
key
to select
module
name
and
enter
the
address
to
be
marked
with
the
front
panel
numerical
keys
.
8
.
Move
the
cursor
back
to
the
[Mark]
field
and
change
the
field
to
[Show]
with
the
NEXT[]
or
PREV[]
key
.
Now
only
the
states
that
contain
the
address
specified
are
displayed,
as
in
figure
4-21
.
The
original
trace
is
still
preserved
in
memory,
but
has
been
temporarily
edited
.
