GCU
Removal and Installation
See Figures 4-112 and 4-113.
WARNING
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)
2. Raise the hood.

NOTE
Label all wires before disconnecting to ensure correct
installation.
3. Remove screws (3).
4. Disconnect GCU connectors (2).
5. Remove screw (6) and connector (5).
6. Swing out GCU shield (4) and remove from machine.
NOTE
For Eclipse 322 Model 62805 (Diesel), lift air intake hose
(1) up to allow sufficient clearance for GCU shield
removal.

7. Remove screws (7), washers (8), lock washers (9),
and nuts (10).
8. Remove GCU (11).
Installation Notes
• Install GCU by reversing the order of removal.
• Apply dielectric grease (Jacobsen PN 365422) to any
connectors removed.
Be sure that the key switch is off, all electrical
accessories are turned off, and the 12-volt and
48-volt power connectors are disconnected
before starting work on machine.
