Front Wheels
Removal and Installation
See Figure 7-22.
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)
2. Block front and rear of rear wheel using suitable
wheel blocks.

3. Loosen, but do not remove, lug nuts (3).
4. Raise and support front of machine with jackstands.
5. Remove four lug nuts (3).
6. Remove wheel (2) and inspect tread area for tears or
other damage.
7. Replace tire if damage is excessive.
Installation Notes
• Inspect and clean any rust from hub (1) or wheel
mounting area.
• Install front wheel by reversing the order of removal.
• Tighten lug nuts to 80 lb-ft (108.5 N·m) using an
alter nating pattern.
• Set tire pressure to 16 psi (1.1 bar).

2. Assemble NAPA BK7763908 puller (1) or equivalent
(5.5 in. reach, 7.0 in. spread) using two jaws (3) and
extensions (2).
