Cowlings
Removal and Installation
See Figures 7-31 and 7-32.
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)
2. Raise the hood.

NOTE
Steps 3 and 4 are for the Eclipse 322 Model 62805
(Diesel) only. For the Eclipse 322 Model 62801 (Electric)
and Eclipse 322 Model 62803 (Gas), proceed to step 5.
3. Loosen hose clamp (3) and disconnect hose (4) from
plenum (2).
4. Remove screw (1), spacer (6), rubber washer (5),
and plenum (2).

NOTE
The left side cowling is shown; the right side cowling is
similar.
5. Move seat forward.
6. Remove screws (7), spacers (8), and rubber washers
(9).
7. For left side only, remove screw (11), spacer (12),
and rubber washer (13).
NOTE
Reach under left cowling and secure the cup holder drain
hose by hand prior to lifting cowling to prevent damage to
left cowling hose nipple.
8. Remove cowling (10).
Installation Note
Install cowling by reversing the order of removal.
