ACRO - SYSTEM MENU -
ADVANCED FUNCTIONS
There are two functions in the SYSTEM Menu that
control some of the more advanced features of the
XP9303 system. They are the Devic. SEL and
Wing Type functions.
The Devic. SEL function is used to activate/inhibit Flight
Modes; change switch assignments; activate/inhibit
switches/channels; and to activate the FLAP TRIM lever
that is next to the FLAP switch on the TX.
The Wing Type function is used to indicate the wing
type (Normal, Flaperon, Delta); to indicate if the aircraft is
a V-tail configuration; and to identify any dual channels
for primary flight controls (ELEV, AILE, RUDD, FLAP). It
also provides for a 2nd throttle channel, complete with
independent trim and throttle curves to accommodate
twin-engine aircraft.
Each of the options in these two functions is described
below to the extent necessary to determine if they should
be used for the aircraft that is being set up. More detailed
descriptions of these functions can be found later in the
ACRO manual.
