When the knife sharpness has deteriorated, resharpen
counter knife

as illustrated in

, and properly reinstall it.
1) If the mounting position of the counter knife is moved
in direction

from the standard mounting position, the
thread length after thread trimming will be increased
accordingly.
2) If the mounting position is moved in direction
B
, the
thread length will be decreased accordingly.
When re-sharpening the counter knife, be
careful of handling.
