1. Installing and settIng of SC-921

. INSTALLATION (DLN-6390-7)
This item is applied only to the case where DLN-6390-7 is used.
Install the motor and SC-921 referring to the Instruction Manual for SC-921.
For the V-belt and the motor pulley, use those supplied with the sewing machine.
To use SC-921 with DLN-6390-7, it is necessary to set the followings after set-up of SC-921.
1) Refer to “

-6 Setting for functions of
SC-921” in the INSTRUCTION MANUAL
for SC-921, and call the function setting
No. 95.
3) After selecting the type of machine head,
by pressing switch

), the step proceeds to 96 or 94, and
the display automatically changes to the
contents of the setting corresponding with
the type of machine head.
WARNING :
• To prevent personal injury caused by abrupt start of the sewing machine, carry out the work after turning
OFF the power switch and a lapse of 5 minutes or more.
• To prevent damage of device caused by maloperation and wrong specications, be sure to connect all the
corresponding connectors to the specied places.
• To prevent personal injury caused by maloperation, be sure to lock the connector with lock.
• As for the details of handling respective devices, read carefully the Instruction Manuals supplied with the
devices before handling the devices.

The type of machine head can be selected
by pressing switch

* Refer to the "List of machine heads" on
the separate sheet or the Instruction Man-
ual for the machine head of your sewing
machine for the type of the machine head.
