pressure.

presser foot pressure.

When the presser foot pressure is excessively high,
the feed force will deteriorate. When the presser foot
pressure is excessively low, sewing performance will
be not stabilized.
Set the protruding amount of 3 mm as the standard
and perform ne adjustment within the range where
sewing performance or feed force is not affected.

The top end of the needle protrudes from the bottom
surface of the presser foot even when the presser foot
is lifted when the sewing machine stops at UP position
in the case where the height of the presser foot is more
than 12.5 mm. As a result, cloth may be damaged by
the top end of the needle.
When the height of the presser foot is 12.5 mm or
less, cloth comes in contact with the presser foot when
placing it on the sewing machine or removing it from
the sewing machine at the time of sewing. As a result,
operating efciency will deteriorate.

Adjust the height of hand lifter base

so that the
height of the presser foot should be within the range
of 12 to 14 mm. After the completion of adjustment,
securely tighten setscrew

. (Tightening torque : 1.5
to 2.5 N·m)
