Keep hands on steering wheel
(When LKA is activated)
If the driver takes hands off the steer-
ing wheel for several seconds whilst
the LKA is activated, the system will
warn the driver.
Warning light and message
Check LKA (Lane Keep Assist) system
The LKA failure indicator (yellow) will
illuminate if the LKA is not working
properly. In this case, have the system
checked by a professional workshop.

rised Kia dealer/service partner.

• The warning message may
appear late according to road
conditions. Therefore, always
have your hands on the steer-
ing wheel whilst driving.
• If you hold the steering wheel
lightly, the system would gen-
erate hands off warning
because LKA can treat the sit-
uation as you do not grab the
wheel.
