12.OPERATION
12.17 PARKING MACHINE
• Avoid stopping suddenly. Give yourself ample room when
stopping.
• When stopping the machine, select flat, hard ground and
avoid dangerous places. If it is unavoidably necessary to park
the machine on a slope, insert blocks underneath the track
shoes.
As an additional safety measure, thrust the bucket into the
ground.
• If the control lever is touched by accident, the work equipment
of the machine may move suddenly, and this may lead to a
serious accident. Before leaving the operator's compartment,
always set the safety lock lever securely to LOCK position.
1. Put left and right travel levers in the neutral position.
The machine stops.
2. Turn fuel control dial to lower the engine speed to low idling.
