5.1.2 Basic transmission procedure
1 Press the Fax key.
This changes to the fax mode and displays the fax screen.
2 Load the original.
% For details on how to load the original, refer to page 3-5.
3 When necessary, specify a image quality.
% For details on Quality, refer to page 5-9.
4 Enter a destination E-mail address using the one-touch dial, speed dial, or Keypad.
% When necessary, press the , key to specify the transmission time or select the Basic or Advanced
mode. For details, refer to page 5-7.
5 Press the Start key.
% This starts scanning and sending if the original has been loaded onto the ADF.
After sending is completed, a "long beep" sounds.
% To stop sending, press the Clear/Stop key, then select [YES] in the displayed screen.
% If you load the original on the Original Glass, go to step 7.
6 Use the +/, key to select [AUTO DETECTION] or [MANUAL], then press the OK key.
7 To start scanning, press the OK key.
% When changing the scanning paper size, press the ) key to respecify the size.
8 When continuously scanning the original, load the next original, then press the OK key.
% Repeat this procedure until scanning of originals is completed.
