8.8 Preparing for rides at high temperature and slow speed

– Adjust the secondary drive to the road conditions.

The engine oil heats up quickly when the clutch is operated frequently due
to an excessively high secondary drive.
– Clean the chain.
Chain cleaner ( p. 125)
– Clean the radiator fins.
– Straighten bent radiator fins carefully.
– Check the coolant level. ( p. 102)
