Attachinganexternalmonitor
Yourcomputercansupportamaximumvideoresolutionofupto2048x1536,providedthattheexternal
monitoralsosupportsthatresolution.Formoredetails,refertothemanualsprovidedwithyourmonitor.
Youcansetanyresolutionforeitherthecomputerdisplayortheexternalmonitor.Whenyouusebothat
thesametime,theresolutionofbothisthesame.Ifyousetahigherresolutionforthecomputerdisplay,
youcanseeonlypartofthescreenatatime.Youcanseeotherpartsbymovingtheimagewiththe
TrackPointoranotherpointingdevice.
Youcanmovethedisplayoutputtothecomputerdisplay,theexternalmonitor,orbothintheDisplay
Settingswindow(inWindowsXPDisplayPropertieswindow).
Connectinganexternalmonitor
Toattachanexternalmonitor,doasfollows:

1.Connecttheexternalmonitortothemonitorconnector,thenconnectthemonitortoanelectricaloutlet
2.Turnontheexternalmonitor.
3.ChangethedisplayoutputlocationbypressingFn+F7.Thisallowsyoutoswitchbetweenviewing
outputontheexternaldisplay,thecomputerdisplay,andbothdisplays.
