Tip!
When the fault messages are retrieved via the system bus (CAN) they are
displayed as a number (see column fault number ˘number" in the following
table).
Fault message
Description Cause Remedy
No. Display
−−− −−− No fault ˘ ˘
0011 OC1 Short circuit in the DC bus
Short circuit l Find cause of short−circuit
l Check DC bus wiring
Charging current limitation of
the axis module is active.
Do not use charging current
limitation
0012 OC2 Earth fault in the DC bus
One of the DC bus cables has
earth contact
Check DC bus wiring
DC−bus capacity is too low Increase capacity
0013 OC3 Load of the DC bus during
charging
(from software version 2.3)
l Power consumption of the DC
bus while charging
l Max. charging current too
low (C0022)
l Check system control/wiring
l Increase max. charging
current (C0022)
0014 OC4 Short circuit/overload of brake
resistor or IGBT
l Brake IGBT defective
l Brake resistor has low
resistance
l No brake resistor connected
l Check brake resistor
l Replace device
0015 OC5 I x t overload l Frequent and too long
acceleration with overcurrent
l Continuous overload with
I
mains
> 1.05 x I

Check dimensioning
0016 OC6 Overload of internal brake
resistor
l Brake resistor thermally
overloaded, caused e.g. by
frequent or too long braking
processes
l OC6 monitoring activated
while an external brake
resistor is used
l Use external brake resistor
l Deactivate OC6 monitoring
when an external brake
resistor is used (C0579 = 3)
0020 OU Overvoltage in the DC bus Excessive braking energy
(DC−bus voltage higher than
880 V)
l Use braking unit or
regenerative module
l Check brake resistor

LP0 Mains voltage beyond the
operating range
Mains voltage beyond range
defined under C0173
l Check mains voltage
l Adapt C0173
