Frame the picture.
Frame the subject near the center of
the monitor.
Zoom
Use the _ button to frame the subject in the monitor. Press_ to zoom out,
increasing the area visible in the frame. PressD to zoom in up to 3x so that the sub-
ject fills a larger area of the frame. Pressing D for about two seconds at 3x zoom will
trigger digital zoom, allowing the subject to be magnified up to 4x more, for atotal of
magnification of 12x. Note that unlike optical zoom, digital zoom does not increase
the amount of detail visible in the picture, instead, details visible at 3x zoom are simply
enlarged, producing a slightly "grainy" image.
