HYGROSCOPIC, THAT IS, IT ABSORBS HUMIDITY FROM THE SURROUNDING
AIR. IF THE HUMIDITY IN THE BRAKING FLUID EXCEEDS A CERTAIN VALUE,
IT WILL LEAD TO INEFFICIENT BRAKING. NEVER USE BRAKING FLUID KEPT
IN CONTAINERS THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN OPENED, OR PARTIALLY USED.

Battery
This vehicle has two batteries: one 12V service battery and one 36V traction battery.
These batteries are under the saddle, protected by a cover. For safety reasons it is
absolutely forbidden to remove the cover to reach them. This operation must only be
done by an Authorised Service Centre.
If the vehicle is not going to be used for a very long time, the batteries must be re-
charged periodically, approximately once every three months, connecting the cable
that is under the saddle to the electricity mains.
