Headlight adjustment (03_31, 03_32)
Proceed as follows:
1. Position the unloaded vehicle, in running order and with the tyres inflated to the
prescribed pressure, onto a flat surface, 10 m away from a half-lit white screen; make
sure the vehicle axis is perpendicular to the screen;
2. Remove the headlight assembly central cover
3. Turn on the headlight and check that the border of the light beam projected on the
screen is not higher than 9/10 or lower than 7/10 of the height from the ground to the
centre of vehicle headlamp;
4. Otherwise, aim the headlight by acting on screws «A» indicated in the figure. Turn
the screws clockwise to lower the light beam; turn them anticlockwise to raise the light
beam.

THE ABOVE PROCEDURE COMPLIES WITH THE EUROPEAN STANDARDS RE-
GARDING MAXIMUM AND MINIMUM HEIGHT OF LIGHT BEAMS. REFER TO THE
STATUTORY REGULATIONS IN FORCE IN EVERY COUNTRY WHERE THE VE-
HICLE IS USED.
