DepthOffset
Depthsaremeasuredfromthetransducerfacetothebottom(e.g.:seabed).Anoffsetvaluecanbe
appliedtothedepthdatasothatthedisplayeddepthreadingrepresentsthedepthreadingtaken
fromeitherthekeel(negativeoffset)orthewaterline(positiveoffset).
Beforeattemptingtosetawaterlineorkeeloffset,findouttheverticaldistancebetweenthe
transducerandeitherthewaterlineorthebottomofyourvessel’skeel,asappropriate.Thensetthe
distanceasthedepthoffsetvalue.
1. Waterlineoffset—Valuesgreaterthanzero(Positivevalues)representawaterlineoffset

Transducer—Zerooffsetrepresentsthedepthfromthetransducer’slocation
3.
Keeloffset—Valueslessthanzero(Negativevalues)representakeeloffset
Settingthedepthoffset
