Alarmsareusedtoalertyoutoasituationorhazardrequiringyourattention.
Someexamplesofalarmsare:
•Anchoralarm—Usedwhenanchored,thisalertsyoutoachangeindepthwhichcouldmeanthat
thechainlengthrequiresadjusting.
•Depthandspeedalarms—Thesealarmsalertyouwhenyourdepthorspeedmovesoutsideof
specifiedlimits,forexampleaminimumdepth.
•MOB(ManOverboard)alarm—ReceivedfromanMOBsystem.
Whenanalarmoccurs,amessageisdisplayedandanaudiblealarmmaysound.
Y oucaneither:
•Silencethealarm,or
•Silencethealarmandeditthealarmsettings.

Withthee xceptionoftheAlarmclock,SpeedandSeatemperature;SeaTalk®systemswillonlybe
abletoswitchalarmsonandoff,SeaTalkng®systemswillalsobeabletoadjustsettings.
