Alarmsareusedtoalertyoutoahazardorsituationrequiringyourattention.Alarmsaretriggered
basedontheirspecifiedthresholds.Alarmsaretransmittedonthenetworkthedisplayisconnected
toi.e.:Sea Talk®orSea Talkng®networksfordisplayatothercompatibledevices.
Note:
Inordertosetalarmthresholdsavaliddatasourceforthealarmisrequired.
Depthalarms
Depthalarmscanbeenabledanddisabledandalarmthresholdvaluescanbesetfromthe Depth
menu:Menu>Alarms>Settings>Depth.Thefollowingdepthalarmsareavailable:
•Shallow—TheShallowalarmistriggeredwhenthedetectedwaterdepthisshallowerthanthe
specifiedvalue .
•Deep—TheDeepalarmistriggeredwhenthedetectedwaterdepthisdeeperthanthespecified
value .
•Shallowanchor—TheShallowanchoralarmistriggeredwhenthedetectedwaterdepthis
shallowerthanthespecifiedvalue .
•Deepanchor—TheDeepanchoralarmistriggeredwhenthedetectedwaterdepthisdeeper
thanthespecifiedvalue .
Note:
TheShallowandDeepalarmsareintendedtobeusedwhenunderway .TheShallowanchorand
Deepanchoralarmsareintendedforusewhenatanchor.
Speedalarms
Speedalarmscanbeenabledanddisabledandalarmthresholdvaluescanbesetfromthe Speed
menu:Menu>Alarms>Settings>Depth.Thefollowingspeedalarmsareavailable:
