Ifnopositiondataisavailablethenthelatitude,longitudeandtimecanbeenteredmanuallysothatit
canbeincludedinDSCdistresstransmissions.
PositiondatareceivedfromothervesselscanbedisplayedonaconnectedRaymarine®multifunction
display.
EnablinganddisablingtheinternalGNSS(GPS)
Fromthe GPSset-upmenu: Menu>Set-up>GPSset-up
1.SelectIntegratedGPS.
Selecting IntegratedGPSwillswitchtheradio’sinternalGNSSreceiverOnandOff.
Switchingbetweeninternalandexternalantenna
Yourradio’sbuilt-inGNSS(GPS)receiverincludesandinternalantenna,toimproveperformanceyou
canconnectanexternalantenna.Youmustselectwhichantennayouareusing.

Selecting GPSantennawillswitchbetweentheinternalantennaandexternalantenna.

Ifnopositiondataisavailableorpositiondatabecomesunavailable;after10minutesanaudible
warningissounded,theGNSS(GPS)iconflashesandtheNopositiondatamessageisdisplayed.
OncethewarninghasbeenacknowledgedtheGNSS(GPS)iconwillcontinuetoflash.TheNo
positiondatawarningisrepeatedevery4hoursifpositiondataisstillunavailable,hasnotbeen
enteredmanuallyorhasbeenenteredmanuallybutover23.5hoursago.
Ifpositiondatahasbeenenteredmanuallythedisplayalternatesbetweendisplayingthemanual
positionandtimeandtheManualPositionmessage.ifthemanuallyenteredpositionhasnotbeen
updatedinthelast4hourstheGNSS(GPS)iconflashesandanaudiblewarningissounded.This
warningwillberepeatedevery4hoursuntilpositionismanuallyupdatedorpositiondatabecomes
available.
Wherenopositiondataisavailableorhasnotbeenmanuallyupdatedfor23.5hoursthenposition
datawillchangeto‘9’sandtimewillchangeto‘8’s.
