Positionrequestscanbesenttoanycontactstoredinthe
Phonebookorbymanuallyinputting

WhenconnectedtoaRaymarine®multifunctiondisplay(MFD)thepositiondatafromtherequest
canalsobedisplayintheChartapp.
Makingapositionrequest
Youcanrequestthepositionofanotherstation.
Fromthe PositionRequestmenu: Menu>DSCCalls>PositionRequest.
1.Select PhonebooktorequestthepositionofacontactsavedinyourPhonebook,or
2.SelectRecentCallstorequestthepositionofacontactthatyouhavecalledrecently,or
3.Select EnterMMSItomanuallyentertheMMSInumberofthestationthatyouwanttorequest
thepositionof.
4.SelectacontactorenteranMMSImanuallyandpressthe OKbutton.
Thepositionrequestissent.Whenaresponseisreceivedthepositionofthecontactisdisplayed.
Respondingtoapositionrequest
WithaPositionrequestdisplayed:
1.Select
Sendpositiontorespondwithyourcurrentlocation,or
2.SelectCanceltoignoretherequest.
3.Ifthepositionreplyissettomanualthenselect SENDtosendthepositionreport.
4.SelectOKtoresumenormaloperation.
IfthePositionrequestssetting,foundinthe GPSset-upmenuissetto Autoacceptthenthe
responseissentautomatically.

Youcanconfigureyourradiotorespondtoincomingpositionrequestsautomatically.
Fromthe DSCset-upmenu: Menu>Set-up>DSCset-up
1.SelectPositionrequeststoswitchbetweenManualaccept(default)andAutoaccept.

Youcanadd,editanddeletecontactsstoredinthePhonebook.
AddingaPhonebookentry
YoucansavecontactsinthePhonebookbyenteringtheirMMSIandassigninganametothecontact.
