Getting Ready
1.
Before you turn off the power, consider these two questions:
• Have the volume controls for the Fantom-XR and all connected audio devices been
turned to their lowest settings?
• Have you saved your Fantom-XR sounds or other data you’ve created?
2.
Turn off the power for all connected audio devices.
3.

This restores all data in the Fantom-XR to the factory-set condition (
Factory Reset
).

Turning Off the Power
Reset to Default Factory Settings (Factory Reset)
If you need to turn off the
power completely, first turn
off the POWER switch, then
unplug the power cord from
the power outlet. Refer to
“Power Supply” (p. 4).
If there is important data
you’ve created that’s stored in
the Fantom-XR’s internal
memory, all such data is
discarded when a Factory
Reset is performed (the data
of the internal user memory
will be lost). If you want to
keep the existing data, save it
on a memory card (p. 162) or
save it on via USB to your
computer (p. 149).
