MIDI transmission settings
Table of Transmitted Data
* If this parameter is changed while a pattern is playing, the data recorded in the sequencer will stop being transmitted to the sound
generator. (This is because panel operations take priority for producing sounds.) This state will continue until a different pattern is
recalled.
Indication Parameter Explanation Values
TX MODE
(transmit
mode)
Specifies the types of MIDI message that will be transmitted. At the factory set-
tings, this is set to “MODE1.” When using a MIDI connection to a D2, MC-307,
MC-505, or JX-305, setting this to MODE2 will reduce the amount of data trans-
mitted and received, in comparison to MODE1.
* For the controller numbers that are switched by MODE1 and MODE2, refer to
“Table of transmitted data” on this page.
