5.8 Parameterization of the Reference Junction for the
Connection of Thermocouples
If you want to use the IM 515/CPU in an ET 200S system with thermocouples and
reference junctions, set the following parameters in the hardware configuration:

module slot to the corresponding reference

channel (0/1) for reference temperature
measurement (determining the compensation
value) for the assigned RTD module slot.
