Precondition
The system has been correctly installed and connected.
All safety relays are functional and activated.

The lists below do not purport to be complete. It may be necessary to perform additional checks
and tests in accordance with the situation specic to the particular installation site.
• Commission the drive system according to the Operating Instructions of the converter or
inverter being used.

• Thoroughly familiarize yourself with the safety instructions and observe the checklists below
before starting any work.

Are all of the necessary components of the congured drive line-up available, correctly
dimensioned, installed and connected?
Is the manufacturer documentation for the system components (e.g. drive system, brake)
available?
Is the motor type to be commissioned known?

Are the ambient conditions in the permissible range?

Have all touch protection measures for moving and live parts been tted and are they
functional?
Has the motor been correctly mounted and aligned?
Can you rotate the rotor without it touching the stator?
Have all xing screws, connecting elements, and electrical connections been tightened
with the prescribed torques and properly attached?
