9. Fuel System
9.1 Air Filter
Dirty air filters reduce engine power,
increase fuel consumption and
emissions, and make starting more
difficult. The air filter should be
checked when there is a noticeable
loss of engine power.

: Take out the screws (arrows) and
remove the filter cover (1).
: Remove the prefilter (1) and air
filter element (2).

Installing
: Fit the filter cover (1) in position.
Insert the screws (arrows) and
tighten them down firmly.
9.2 Baffle
Remove the filter cover, b 9.1
: Use screwdriver 5910 890 2420
to unscrew the nuts (arrows).
Remove the baffle (1).

Installing
Check the gasket (1) and replace
it if necessary
Make sure the gasket (1) is properly
seated.
: Fit the baffle (1) over the pin (2).
: Push the lugs (1) into the
guides (arrows).
Push the baffle fully home.
