REMOUNTING
Remount the front wheel in the reverse order of removal. Pay
attention to the following points:
• Install the front wheel.

Face the arrow mark A on the tire to the direction of
wheel rotation, when remounting the wheel.
• Tighten the front axle 1 to the specified torque.

" Front axle: 65 N

m (6.5 kgf

m, 47.0 lb-ft)
• Tighten the front axle pinch bolts 2 to the specified torque.

" Front axle pinch bolt: 23 N
.
m (2.3 kgf
.
m, 16.5 lb-ft)
NOTE:
Before tightening the front axle nut and front axle nut pinch bolts,
move the front fork up and down four or five times.
• Tighten the brake caliper mounting bolts 1 to the specified
torque.

" Brake caliper mounting bolt: 39 N
.
m (3.9 kgf
.
m, 28.0 lb-ft)
NOTE:
After remounting the brake calipers, pump the brake lever a few
times to check for proper brake operation.
