7.5 Disassembling the Transmitter Module
Important Disassembling the transmitter module is a level-2 repair and
must only be performed by accredited service centres
(ASC). For more information, refer to “Repair Levels and
Website Access” on page 75.
1. Remove the transmitter module as described in “Replacing the
Transmitter Module” on page 103.
2. Use a Torx T10 screwdriver to unscrew the seven screws
f and g
together with the spring washers and flat washers.
3. Lift the transmitter module clear of heat sink.
4. Remove and discard the gap pad
i and (with the 50W/40W boards)
the gap pad
j.
5. To replace the power connector
c:
With the 50W/40W board, use a Torx T6 screwdriver to undo
the two screws
1!.
With the 25W board, use a Torx T10 screwdriver to undo the two
screws
1!.
